UK Genealogists offer a range of
services to cover all of your genealogical needs.
Simply,
telephone us or complete our enquiry
form at the bottom of the page for a 100% free, no obligation,
consultation to discuss your research requirements. Once our initial
checks have been completed, we will advise you of the feasibility of
the research you wish us to carry out and the likelihood of success, If
you then wish to engage us to carry out research on your behalf, it is
only at this stage that you will receive an invoice for payment.
We accept payment by Cheque, PayPal, Credit or Debit Card via PayPal and, if you are in the UK, you can also pay by Standing Order for our 'Research Packages'.

An online version of our 'One to One Session' above aimed at those of our clients who live elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
Online Sessions are charged at £20 per hour (or part thereof).
Once you have purchased your initial first hour, simply e-mail us with your query and any information you may already have acquired and we will help you to progress your research further and answer any specific queries you may have.
We accept payment by Cheque, PayPal, Credit or Debit Card via PayPal and, if you are in the UK, you can also pay by Standing Order for our 'Research Packages'.

not required for payments by Credit or Debit Card.

Research Packages

All packages include:-
- A full narrative report (sample here) detailing your chosen number of surname lines back as far as possible from your source person(s)
- Copies of all Certificates, Census Returns and Parish Register entries acquired during research
- Copies of any other documents found such as Army Records or Wills
- All source references
- A pedigree family tree
- Mileage up to 200 miles

One to One
Session
This service is aimed at those of our clients who live within a 40 mile radius of our base in Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex.
You may be totally new to genealogy and need a helping hand to get started. Alternatively, you may have been tracing your family history for several years and have now hit a brickwall in your research. Whatever your genealogical query, we can help.
Just let us know what you are trying to find out and bring along any information you may already have acquired and we will offer what help we can and guide you in the right direction. We can arrange to meet in Bexhill-on-Sea or, if you prefer, a location of your choice.
One to One Sessions are charged at £25 for the first hour (or part thereof). Each additional hour (or part thereof) will be charged at £15. Travelling expenses will be charged at cost for meetings outside of Bexhill-on-Sea.

Perhaps you were adopted and would like to learn more about your birth family?
Based on the information you already know, no matter how scant, we will search genealogical and other records to locate them if at all possible and will provide you with their contact details. If you have any doubts about contacting them yourself, we will be happy to make the initial approach.
We recently put a 66 year old woman adopted at the age of 5 in touch with her birth mother aged 94. The birth mother had only just returned to England having emigrated to America over fifty years earlier. They had a tearful but joyous reunion. We may be able to help you in the same way.
If you would like our help in tracing a missing person, our charge is £125 per full day's research plus any travelling expenses (at cost) incurred. A deposit of 1 full day's research is required.

If so, then we can provide you with photographs of the churches they were baptised and married in. Perhaps you would like a photograph of their gravestone or a view of the cemetery in which they were buried. You may like a photograph of your ancestors home or the street in which they lived.
No matter what photographs you want, we can help bring your family history to life.
Simply provide us with details of what you would like us to photograph and we will take as many photos as you wish. We can then e-mail them to you or, if you prefer, print them out and post them to you.
Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee to find what you are looking for as some headstones will no longer exist or will be unreadable and buildings may be demolished but we will do our best.
